Ryoma is a detail-oriented project manager who approaches design and problem-solving with technical precision, creative insight, and a systems-based perspective. He leads the coordination, design development, and construction of public park projects across a range of scales, guiding them from concept through completion. With extensive experience collaborating with complex client, subconsultant, and stakeholder teams, he effectively manages budgets and schedules to ensure efficiency, coordination, and design excellence. Ryoma brings strong experience in construction administration, overseeing project implementation to uphold design intent and quality. His expertise includes the structural design of stormwater management systems, bridge and walkway structures, park spaces built over structure, landscape stone features, as well as the spatial organization of site furnishings.

Ryoma earned a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the University of California, Davis, where he received the ASLA Merit Award. He joined MVVA in 2015 and is based in Los Angeles.
