Elliot LaGuardia
Elliot grew up in Sag Harbor, NY, on the east end of Long Island, where he was influenced by the local farms, expansive ocean beaches and intertidal ecosystems. He spent many of his early summers fishing, sailing and hiking in Adirondack Park, where he developed a keen interest in landscape and ecology. More recently, he spent summers working in landscape construction in the Hamptons, developing practical knowledge of building high-quality residential landscapes.

After completing his studies, Elliot spent two months traveling in Southeast Asia and Western Europe. Travel experiences around the world have shaped Elliot's perspective on the relationship between culture and landscape. Elliot received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Cornell University, where he served on the student ASLA E-board and received the Marvin Adleman scholarship. He interned at MVVA during the summer of 2018, and joined full-time in 2019. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, live music, and exploring new places.
