Jing Deng
Originally from Wuhan, China, Jing interned at MVVA in 2014 and joined the firm full-time in 2015. Since then, she has contributed to the construction documentation and administration for A Gathering Place for Tulsa, especially the play garden. Jing has also worked on various phases of a number of projects including concept design and city review for Block 4 of Hudson Park and Boulevard in Manhattan, design and construction documents for Waterloo Park in Austin, Texas, and construction administration for Vassar College and sections of Brooklyn Bridge Park. She is currently working on a streetscape and play garden for 181 Mercer in Manhattan and large-scale park design for the Port Lands Flood Protection project in Toronto.

Jing received her Bachelor of Architecture from Huangzhong University of Science and Technology in 2012, followed by a Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University in 2014. While at Columbia, she won the 3rd Special Award in the International Federation of Landscape Architects Landscape Architecture Design Competition 2014. Before joining MVVA, Jing worked as an intern at CITIC General Institute of Architectural Design and Research Co. and at the Tianjin University Research Institute of Architectural Design and Urban Planning.
