Waco Downtown Redevelopment
In partnership with the City of Waco and Hunt Development Group, MVVA led the creation of a park-first development plan as the inaugural phase of Waco’s broader Downtown Revitalization. Rooted in a vision that prioritizes public space, this first phase for Barron's Branch District introduces a vibrant network of plazas, gardens, and play areas that strengthen connections among longtime residents and new visitors alike. Working closely with Walker Engineering, Overland Partners, and an extended consultant team, MVVA advanced the Phase 1a design details that establish the park’s signature character.
