Tyler contributes to many phases of the MVVA design process including development, planting design and construction documentation. He is a member of the design team for South Garden at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, North Grant Park in Chicago, New York University 2031 Design and Vassar College’s Wimpfheimer Nursery School.

Tyler earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Iowa State University with a minor in Design Studies. While at ISU, he participated in the Mississippi River Traveling Studio, studying the natural and cultural landscape along the banks of the Mississippi River. He also attended the Edinburgh College of Art, studying Urban Reclamation and Psychogeography.

Tyler joined MVVA in 2009.
