Stephan Snyder
Stephan is originally from Davidson, North Carolina, where he was influenced by the environments he experienced running cross country and travelling across the state. While attending Carleton College, he worked for the Carleton Arboretum, restoring former farmland to its original prairie condition, and his senior thesis focused on prairie remnants in Minnesota that were preserved by railroads.

Stephan graduated from Carleton College with a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art in 2018. He also attended the Design Discovery program in Landscape Architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Before joining MVVA, he worked at Carleton’s Perlman Museum as a Curatorial and Collections Assistant and as a studio assistant and shop monitor in the Studio Art Department. In his free time, he enjoys drawing, climbing, and hiking.
