Bardha Rafuna
Bardha is originally from Peja, Kosovo, where she grew up near Rugova Canyon, one of the deepest and longest canyons in Europe. Her hometown is defined by this mountainous landscape, which she sees echoed in the winding roads and mountain passes of New York State.

Bardha received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Pristina, Kosovo, in 2016, and has worked as a research assistant in Kosovo. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, and she once represented her hometown in a regional folk dance festival. She manages travel and expenses from MVVA’s Brooklyn office, which she joined in 2018.
