Parth Divekar
Designer
Parth is originally from Pune, India, where he was exposed to the spatial dynamics of a sprawling city. His approach to landscape is shaped by his diverse work experience in fields from architecture and construction to energy auditing and industrial contracting. The work and writings of landscape architect James Rose also influence his design inquiry. He is interested in landscape as the locus of space, ecology, economics, politics and sociocultural factors.

Parth holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Pune and is a licensed architect in India. Before attending Cornell, he worked at design milieu, a Bangalore-based landscape architecture firm. In his free time, he practices transparent watercolor, Kali- a martial art from Philippines and Isshin-ryƫ karate, in which he holds a black belt.
