Aidan Cronin
Aidan is from Indianapolis, Indiana, where the city’s intimate backyard gardens contrast with the state’s vast fields and forests. The reciprocal relationship between physical landscapes and the people acting within them has always captivated him. A semester of studying and walking in London particularly influenced Aidan by showing him how the design of parks, squares, streets, and alleys frame daily urban life.

Aidan received his Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Studio Art from Denison University, located in the Welsh Hills of central Ohio, where his studies mainly focused on the history of the built environment. While there, the Frederick Law Olmsted & Sons-designed campus and the Native American earthworks found in the region left lasting impressions on Aidan. He continues to explore his interests in the built and natural world through drawing and other media. Prior to MVVA, Aidan interned with Landmark Columbus, an organization in Columbus, Indiana that preserves the city’s architecture and celebrates its exceptional design legacy, including its seven National Historic Landmarks.

Aidan joined MVVA in 2017.
