Kat Wyatt
Kat grew up in New York City near Riverside Park, just as the western edge of Manhattan was developing more spaces for leisure and outdoor recreation. Places such as Chelsea Piers and the Hudson River bike route showed her firsthand what a difference good landscape design could make, and how it transformed the way people related to the waterfront. More broadly, Kat’s New York City upbringing instilled the importance of accessible green space for livable cities. She has also been influenced by the thoughtful urban design she has encountered during travels to places such as New Zealand and Paris.

Kat graduated from Yale University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. While at Yale, she worked in the Invertebrate Zoology collection at the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History, cataloging specimens for use by researchers around the world. In her free time she enjoys singing.

Kat joined MVVA in 2017.
