Emily grew up in the small craft village of Sugar Loaf, New York. Her rich perspective on landscape design has been cultivated by her upbringing in the Hudson Valley and she finds continued inspiration through travel and drawing. Prior to joining MVVA, Emily worked at Gregory Lombardi Design in Cambridge, Richard Burck Associates in Somerville, and at the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation where she worked to develop a master plan for Van Cortland Park in the Bronx.
Emily earned a Bachelor of Science in Design and Environmental Analysis from Cornell University and received a Master in Landscape Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver.
Emily joined MVVA in 2016.
