Tyler was raised in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, where he developed an early appreciation for the region's rural landscape. As a designer, he strives to incorporate a similar sense of open space and landscape typologies into urban projects. Prior to joining MVVA, Tyler worked as an intern for Diehm and Sons and Rettew Associates, focusing on planning and surveying, as well as mixed-use community and educational design.
Tyler earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture with a minor in Urban Planning from Penn State University in 2015. In 2014, he attended an urban design program in Germany.
Tyler joined MVVA in 2015.
