Fletcher enriches MVVA’s process with his ability to visually conceptualize and creatively problem solve. Relying on a thorough understanding of the unique needs of a project and the capacities of the medium, he is passionate about building landscapes that elevate and invigorate the experience and identity of a place. Educated in landscape architecture and with a background in landscape construction, he brings a highly creative, strategic and thorough approach to place making from schematic design to construction observation.
Fletcher was the designer and project manager of the Notre Dame Sculpture Park in South Bend, Indiana and has contributed to all phases of the design process for a diversity of projects including, M-Street Landing, the Amherst College Greenway and Dorms, and Maggie Daley Park. He is particularly adept at navigating the complexities of large-scale urban design and public realm projects including the Trinity River Park in Dallas, the Jamaica Bay Framework Plan in New York, a 400-acre corporate campus in Portland, and the East Harbour Masterplan in Toronto.
Fletcher received a bachelor’s degree with honors in Landscape Architecture from The Pennsylvania State University.
