Paul plays a leading role in the administration and management of the firm while also pursuing an interest in the relationship between design and natural systems. Many of the projects Paul has worked on in the firm, including the Lake Whitney Water Treatment Plant Landscape, as well as the University of Iowa Athletic / Recreation Facilities, have explored creative landscape solutions in the treatment of surface water. Paul joined MVVA in 1996 and is currently the project manager for Brooklyn Bridge Park, located under both the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges and covering some 80 acres of the formerly industrial Brooklyn waterfront.
Paul is a 2002 Fellow of the American Academy in Rome. He received his Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture and City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University in 1996.
